JEOPARDY

Chem-e-jeopardy is an event which is conducted in the form of a quiz. But comparing it to another quiz which are conducted it is something a quiz with a twist. The twist is that the contestants have to give the answer to the question but in the form of a question only. The quiz was conducted in lecture rooms and the projector screens were used as the common interface for all the constants to view and answer the questions. There were some rules which the contestants had to follow like answering before the finishing of the question was a foul. And marks were deducted for a negative response. The quiz consisted of majorly six sections as – history, geography, chemistry, animated movies, sports and current affairs. there was the use of buzzer also in the quiz so as to judge that who had a quick response. The level of questions from each and every section was very general and knowledge-based. The quiz consisted of scores which were awarded at the end of every right answer and marks were also deducted for wrong response. It was a very learning experience for all the freshers and got to learn many new things. There were 11 teams and each team. There was a different level of questions depending upon the points it provided. The marks of questions varied from 100 to 500.
